nintendo should know that not everyone uses gaming consoles solely for gaming, switch 1 didnt even have an internet browser. i like switch but they are still lagging behind xbox ps5 functionalities

Wow I didn’t know about Ivalice Chronicles! Gonna be hard to wait until September. FFTactics War of the Lions version is the one I play on my iphone all the time.
I’ve been playing this game Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark because it’s basically a FFT clone. Will be nice to have the real thing again.
@cigarino Nintendo doesn’t want us using it for anything other than family based gaming. They brick consoles that are modified in any way and actively hinder game preservation. My opinion on them has gradually soured since I was a child and I really am not a fan anymore.

Anyone played final fantasy 16? It just came out on xbox. I enjoy some jrpgs at times. Was it fun? For me one of the main aspects i love about jrpgs is the music. Obsessed. I even listen to final fantasy piano renditions to sleep to sometimes.
I got avowed and skin deep but just feel like playing skyrim se if I could get my mind off worrisome current events. I feel like I should be worrying and preparing for doomsday.
I finally beat the 700 elo guy in Chess Infinity. Yes 700 elo isnt high but I often make dumb moves because of the camera angle. I got tired of playing chess on the beach next to pirate ship so now Ive been playing games in a viking longhouse
My dad and I used to play Blades of Steel on the original Nintendo. Damn that was so fun. 16 bit maybe so by today’s standards it probably has very little replay value but I enjoyed the time we shared.

NES was special. Something about the simplicity of the controller has me coming back to my NES mini time and time again.
My stepdad and i would take turns playing the original Turtles game. He always had trouble finding the technodrome. I beat the game 3 or 4 times as a kid, gotta save up scrolls for that last hallway.

It’s funny how some videos show the way a few people hold the NES controller like at neck level with the cord part pointed downwards.

I’ve never done that lol I’m guessing that’s so they can zoom in on their faces and keep the controller in frame? Mine is always down by my lap.
Oh @cigarino , thanks again for pointing me towards the ROG Ally X when I was considering a Deck. I’m a huge Xbox guy and it turns out their new portable is just a slightly modified Ally X called the “ROG Xbox Ally X” which is basically the same, except without full windows support? Sounds like a downgrade to me! Neither plays all xbox games, but both play Play Anywhere games which are technically Xbox Store PC Versions with cross save.
Long story short i already have the xbox handheld, lol. It’s the Ally X.

There’s a new fishing game called cast and chill coming out June 16th. It’s a pixel idle game that looks amazing.

I’m playing Red Dead Redemption 1 right now which is a 360 game. It’s got a DLC called Undead Nightmare that is really fun.
Ive heard of it was going to get it on the switch i also have resident evil 0 and silent hill homecoming on my laptop im spoilt for choice lol

@agent101g Is classic wow active? I’m trying to get some sort of idea of how many players it has. My 1x rate server Lordaeron has about 2.1k currently not at peak hours.

Classic wow anniversary servers are super active, because there’s only two and they are megaservers: Dreamscythe for PvE only, Nightslayer for PvP. I’m on Nightslayer, but you can get killed by opposing players out in the world on Nightslayer.
I’m not sure about era, but anniversary is very busy. Right now we’re in phase 4, with zul’gurub, black wing lair, molten core, and onyxia. Phase 5 with AQ starts in three or four weeks or at least it is rumored to. You can get rank 14 in battlegrounds on either server… rank 14 is really easy to get compared to how it used to be, half our raid team is rank 14 myself included. You get really good weapons for hitting max rank!
