Not John Lennon’s most shining moment.
Seemed justified! So what’s the problem? Think it was very early days for them.
He was kind of joking.
Nothing out of the ordinary for him really.
George was my favorite Beatle.
Paul is my Second favorite.
John was my third
Last was Ringo
@Wave and at @Dreamscape2.
I don’t think this was behaviour that matched their image as the lovable mop tops back in those days. It seemed rather rude to me to be shouting at fans and I doubt it happened often. Like my title says, it semed a little out there and bizarre for the Beatles who were known for their charm.
Get over yourself!
Was he shouting at Mark David Chapman?
Ah, I remember the day Lennon got shot. It was pretty shocking and unreal.
It was said in an amiable way, not harsh at all.
aw, @77nick77 I thought it was witty just like most Beatle quotes from back in that era of the Beatles. I love John. He wasn’t perfect and did some things that shocked me but I still love him. He was a genius. I think of Yoko a lot as a beautiful example of his widow. I love you nick. I love the Beatles and listen to them every day.
