Vaping, nicotine strength

I’ve been using a sub ohm setup, so my nicotine strength has been 6mg.

But after a couple of years, it’s not doing it for me anymore, so I’ve ordered 7mg and 8mg liquid to see if it makes a difference.

Anybody using a sub ohm setup with a nicotine strength > 6mg?

@everhopeful

I use a sub-ohm setup, but I’m vaping 3 mg.

I remember reading somewhere that with subohm rigs you don’t want to go above 6.

I have a 0.5ohm with 18mg liquid.

It is very harsh on the throat and not very tasty. Works best with menthol.

The good thing is it is strong enough to last me between breaks at work, and also I don’t need to use much liquid so it is cheaper to run.

I have a nicer setup for home-use with 6mg

Anything over 10mg on a sub ohm has my eyes wide open, like I’ve had 10 cups of coffee. I’ve no idea how you cope with 18mg. But as you say, maybe it works if you only puff on it every now and then. Interesting.

It is only on low settings so doesn’t bury me in smoke

no idea what sub ohm means but i vape 12mg nicotine liquid, i started at 18 but find 12 works fine. I use a cheap Apire model and they usually last me around 3 or 4 months before i need a new battery.
