Using homophones as stipulative definitions for words

My voices constantly apply meaning to homophones and demand that I adhere to their implied meaning or implications.

Does anyone have this problem?

Breaking down words for hidden meaning?

It does that to me too (mine are intrapsychic hallucinations.).
The problem is that I’ve been badly influenced by psychoanalysis, and these thoughts are very present…

I do that:

Depression becomes ‘deep rest’
Emotion becomes ‘energy in motion’

I’m sorry you’re hearing voices all the time. That’s a tough spot to be in,

Good examples. I couldn’t think of any off the top of my head. I wanted to offer some examples but i couldn’t think of any. Probably one of the more annoying things that they force me to do
