I guess and the morning too…just woke up…going to be a long night…I will just pet my elderly dog when he gets up tonight…he is coming around nicely. wags his tail all the time now.

too excited over my new job next week…I should usually be backing out about now because that’s what I used to do when I was “going to work” but this is the most laid back, non public job in town…and I am excited instead of being scared…anyways, who else is up?

My country got hit by a nasty heat wave. Temperatures reaching 40°C (104 F) and drought.

it’s still hot in the house and the a/c units are barely handling the over 100 temps here too…sorry man…

I have the same issue. When I get excited about something I struggle to sleep. It usually lasts 2 to 3 nights in my case.

I walk my dogs when I can’t sleep. It’s 12:30am. I should be able to sleep soon once meds kick in

Gonna see pdoc tmr to get a refill. Just recently tampered a bit with my AP, but my anxiety worsened so I went back up on it and now I’m fine.

@Jonathan2 I take trazadone…it’s all good…sometimes I sleep early evening to after midnight and then get up…no biggie…just readjust the next day…I crash around four am.

Geodon and Latuda main APs with seroquel low dose recently added… Plus mirtazapine and ambien.
My APs are not sedating at all.

Apart from working other things are manageable like eating, reading, walking, solving crosswords, writing journal etc… Working is always a nightmare. The people are very helpful at work but not many are there and feel bad asking lot of questions. Need to keep learning to be in touch with peers.

I already complain to my pdoc that I’m on 4 meds. We’re tapering my benzo though.

Seroquel did nothing for my sleep. I’m immune to it.
A bit of clozapine and I’m knocked out.

I take a very low dose of clozapine (25 mg) just for sleep. The minimum therapeutic dose as an AP is 200 mg.
All APs increase my weight a bit.

Is the outside cooler than the inside right now?
Yeah, once the house is hot. The AC won’t keep up. At night we cool the house by opening the windows and not run the AC. Then in the AM shut the windows and the AC can try to keep it cool for most of the day til about 3pm it starts getting hot even with AC again as the sun beats down the roof and windows.
