Unctrollable movement of body parts

Hello !

I’m on clozapine and I have involuntary movements and uncontrolled movement of body parts for example hands, arms, legs, head. I lose control over my one leg or arm. I was wondering does anybody have the same problem, because it is actually dangerous, I could lose control over my legs and hit the ground. Is there anything that might help ? supplements or anything like that ?

I’m not a pdoc but some type of dopamine intake might provide temporary relief.

U should probably contact your pdoc.

Welcome to the forum !
I think :yum::slightly_smiling_face:

I get body spasms most evenings that feel like an intense male energy that is unbearable to feel.
It is unbearable agony .

Maybe try a relaxant medicine or change medicine and talk with your dr.

why is it that dopamine would help ?
I have a bottle of L-tyrosine I might try.

The best way to solve this is probably adjusting or changing medication.

These may be symptoms of tardive dyskinesia, but you really need to talk to your pdoc about it. There are now medications that can treat the symptoms of TD.

There are TD medications
I’m on Austedo XR and it’s helping my TD symptoms a lot

There is also another TD medication called Ingrezza

No idea, it helped me when I was experiencing those symptoms.

No.

These are quite serious symptoms.

So please tell your psychiatrist as soon as possible.
