Uk jobcentre query

I’m interested if anyone here has been to the jobcentre in the uk,

I am scared of them and have always been scared of them bc i never thought i’d be able to work,

I am hoping to get work through my clubhouse but if i could trust the Jobcentre then i was wondering if anyone had any experience of them, good or bad.
