Happy birthday! @77nick77 59 years with SZ, that’s impressive! I hope I live that long without having a heart attack. I am 30 now and gained 150lb since my diagnosis at 22 y.o.

The age old dilemma that has plagued mankind since the beginning of time: how to thank every one of you and not leave anybody out! So this thank you goes out to everybody collectively.
Thanks everybody! I appreciate all the well-wishes. My birthday was kind of anti-climatic. It was just dinner and dessert at my middle sisters house with me and my oldest sister and plenty of conversation. Also with my 30 year old nephew occasionally coming out of his room to talk.
We didn’t have a cake but my oldest sister had gone to this fancy bakery shop and picked out three of the best cupcakes I have ever tasted piled high with mint, caramel and chocolate frosting. We split each one three ways. My step-mother had given me a check for $50.00. I don’t owe a dime to anybody so that $50.00 is mine to waste any way I want to. Maybe, I’ll buy some chocolate prolixen or vanilla risperidone (those are real things, right?). Anyways, thanks again, it made me feel good to see all your birthday wishes. Good luck to all of us.
