Any ideas on how to flavor up a tuna sammich without veggies?
Lol salt and pepper? Unless you already got that on there…
Usually, go with mayo and pepper. I might dash some salt onto it.
Do you think it would be good with some ramen noodles on it. chicken flavor? Toast, mayo, tuna, salt, pepper, chicken flavored ramen?
I like adding relish to mine. I think I heard someone put curry in their tuna. If I have veggies, I put chopped onion, celery, chopped walnuts or chopped tomatoes.
I don’t really do veggies. Just the basics like potatoes corn peas and green beans. I think all I have is cream corn… I dunno about that though.
You inspired me to make a tuna sammy.
Tuna and mayo is great. Simple but tasty. Probably not good for your cholesterol but you only live once.
Why don’t you try to add salt and pepper? I bet it will be delicious.
I second what Nick said about adding relish. Or if you have no relish chop up some pickles and add those in.
Can you boil a couple of eggs? Chopped up.
Salt, mayo, lettuce, sweetcorn.
Pickles are a bomb addition to tuna mayo-- I’ll even use some pickle juice in the mixture for extra zing.
Chopped onions work well also
Mayo works great with some black pepper or instead of mayo I’ll add some lemon juice to it with some salt and black pepper.
Enjoy!
add some crunched up potato chips
Yea I usually eat tuna with lemon juice, hot sauce and olive oil. Often I add oregano, its more delicious to me than mayo but when I am lazy I just eat it with mayo.
Olive oil makes tuna soft and more pleasant/tastier to eat. Its also healthier with no cholesterol vs mayo.
You can add some hot sauce. Goes really well with the tuna IMO.
I like tuna with olive oil also.
My tuna sammich ended up being mayo pepper and salt. I might give the hot sauce a try (;
