Tripping out in the airport

My heart rate is elevated and I’m feeling weirded out and paranoid, but I am halfway through tsa.
I always forget how bad crowds are.

That is very brave of you to travel.

Where are you going?
Are you traveling by yourself?

I’m afraid to travel n I’m afraid of going psychotic or getting anxiety but it’s not impossible I can be abled to do it in the future.

Wishing you good travels and lovely times.:pray:t4:

Hey!
Yeah I’m alone, I just landed in New Orleans
It’s been quite a trip so far

Glad to hear you arrived safely. I guess that city will be associated with hurricane Katrina for a long time.

I’ve never been there but I’ve heard of Batton Rouge.

I’m waiting to see the after effects, I don’t know what to expect.
I almost want to volunteer for a day if I could

I actually flew from Newark when I returned home after my hospitalization.

I was lucky they didn’t turn around the plane because I was acting weird on it. I kept walking around in it because I couldn’t sit still.

The pilot came to see me and they decided to keep flying and that medics would come once landed.

It’s a bit traumatic that experience, but luckily I made it back home.

Holy sh-it man! Sounds like the pilot understood you were distressed.

The stewards were really friendly they even gave me an aspirin (they really don’t have any serious meds). But I had already taken risperidone, sleeping pills and wine.

I was a real mess back then. My sister who was flying with me even got embarrassed and she rarely is.

I did some fu-cked up things while being psychotic. But being on a plane and having an episode sounds awful.

Didn’t risperidone work for you? I became crazy depressed while on it.

Yeah it was tough to be on the plane but luckily it was only like two and a half hour flight

In the beginning no meds helped.

Anyway. It’s over a decade ago and I have processed the experience.

Tell me about it. Olanzapine was the only med that worked. I was crazy for a long time trying different meds.

I’ve flown several times in the last couple of years. No issues. Even flights of seven hours. But I always take my benzo and clozapine along as a prn.

Hope you have a great trip btw!

Lol. I think most people who have sz have had some type of crazy experiences.

I’m doing alright now though.
