Not hating on vaping. But am seeing if I can ween myself off nicotine altogether using gum.
Tried gum a while ago, but I like patches more. Not that that worked for me either. Still plan on trying to quit, but something always comes up where I start smoking again. Good luck @anon20613941, it’s a cool thing to do!
Alternatives help. One strategy from day treatment is to find the source of your addictions like you depressed mood, need to escape reality, lack of sleep or stress. Or you can get rid of negative self talk like “I have no choice but to smoke.” Replace it with “I have a choice.” Lastly replace your action with an alternative action. For example changing vaping with gum. I am trying to correct my problem of using the phone too much. Good luck.
