I have the most dramatic intricate dreams. I wonder if it’s the 300 mg of trazadone I take? The dreams don’t bother me but I wonder if I am getting good sleep? I only stay up about 9 to 12 hours a day.
When I finally get some good deep sleep, that’s when all those wild dramatic dreams happen.
I’m not a dr (naturally), but I’d say if the trazadone helps you relax, then you’ll sleep deeper, and that’s more important than how much (you think) you’re sleeping.
The amount of time spent in a bed with your eye’s closed is not an good indicator of how much or how good you sleep.
I’m on barely any Abilify and it has been giving me very vivid dreams. So maybe it’s an antipsychotic thing. Dunno.
uhhhhhg they’re horrible man… like a thousand critical minds pressed up against mine
Trazadone has different effects on different people. If some people take just 50 mg of it they go into a deep sleep for twenty hours. Other people can take any amount of it, and it does nothing to them. Oddly enough, I think Trazadone is classified as an anti-depressant. I can see how it would give you vivid dreams. For me, dream sleep is always good sleep. I wouldn’t worry about it unless you are too sleepy to function the next day from taking this drug. If you feel like it is interfering with your normal life you might talk to your pdoc or caseworker about it.
