When we had a downburst that totalled the cities trees but didn’t really damage homes took out the electricity for three days I said, “well at least the chances of us getting hit by a tornado won’t probably happen now…” haha last night man it took out about eight buildings just north of town and killed/injured some horses…lucky no one was killed…we hid in the closet like we always do with the dogs when the sirens went off around midnight…
Thank God you guys are okay!!
Oh gosh! I’m glad you’re okay!

Wow.
I have family right by you.
I need to call my mom and see if she heard any alarms.
Sorry that happened to you guys,
So happy you’re safe.
Happy to hear you are ok.
Glad you are ok @jukebox
oh thank you everyone…!! yes, we are lucky !!
Holy shite, thank God no one was killed. How are your nerves?
@Cragger my gf gets really scared but I remain calm…if it’s my time to go it’s my time to go…doesn’t really scare me.
@jukebox That’s a good headspace to be in. I feel the same way, I’ve almost died on several occasions in my life. If I get called home, so be it
Glad you are okay
Was it a night tornado ? I’m glad y’all are okay. Scary.
yes right about midnight last night…we were still up so we heard the sirens…
This happened to me when I visited Oklahoma, too. I love going there. But I’m pretty familiar with it all because I live in another state that gets severe weather, particularly tornadoes. People that’s not from around a state that is prone to tornadoes, kinda freak out a little. But to me, it’s always been part of my life; once it happens several times, you get used to it.
