It’s post mating season. They should be giving birth soon. The males will get their antlers back soon. I swear I go on the porch I never don’t see a deer. There must be 15-20 roaming around these woods. Even if in multiple “packs” “herds” “tribes”. I love the deer such peaceful majestic creatures. How are your deer in your area. Maybe there’s not deer in your city but you mustn’t go far to find them usually.

Yeah we get deer here but in all honesty have been seeing less of them lately.

In Mexico the deer were friendly. Much skinnier than the deer here tho.

Once we had a mountain lion. I kinda got a pic. I think I posted it here now that I think of it. And we see coyotes raccoons groundhogs foxes bobcats
I saw a fox with a possum in its mouth the other day

The deer are plentiful where I live. People eat a lot of deer chili in the Fall. It might be a workable idea to move a few mountain lions from their habitat in California to places where the deer are plentiful, because deer are the primary prey of mountain lions. They have problems with mountain lions attacking people out in California, but that is because all the deer have been chased off. As long as they’re not hungry they don’t attack people. I don’t know what mountain lions would do if cattle were available in their habitat.
