It has been my lot in life to befriend what I thought were boys (as they were in name and appearance ) only to find out years later that they are girls. What a headache of attempts to overcome the prejudice of being female. I have also heard a lot about men who pose as women. This does not speak well for a country who prides itself on equality.

No. Most of this was before sex change operations were common knowledge. The girls had short hair cuts and boys clothing. You really wouldn’t know unless they exposed themselves. Then, I’ve heard guys talk about thinking they were making out with a girl only to reach under and feel a pecker. lol.
