Today has been really really sad mainly because today would have been my stepdad’s 63rd birthday he passed almost a year ago (October 17, 2020 is the day he died) my mom and I are crushed and very sad…

I’m sorry to hear that. Yes…63 is not very old. It’s a reminder to live our life to the best of our ability. It’s easy to get disconnected and forget about life and death when taking the AP. I know I have.

It’s a blow when a loved one passes on.
I still miss my Mom especially on special occasions like her Birthday or Mother’s Day.
It’s so sad.

anniversaries of deaths are very hard. Some people actually go into a whole season of depression from it. Right now it’s important to be gentle and understanding with yourself knowing that you’re tending to a serious wound. I hope you remember the good times and this helps ease some of the pain.
