temperatures are nice today, 65 degrees, but rain off and on all day. checked the rain gauge earlier and we have gotten 2 1/2 inches of rain already this week.
so at least it’s warming up some, and i can enjoy my yard on the days the sun comes out from behind the clouds.
looking forward to may, my favorite month.
It’s in the mid 80s here already. I will be swimming by mid April.
still no leaves on the trees, but i do believe they are budding. im going to pay attention this year to see when the leaves return.

It never got cold enough here for the leaves to fall. My trees are full of leaves. I didn’t have to rake much this year.
that’s nice. usually i mulch my leaves with my mower, like a month after i’ve stopped cutting the grass. did it in november last year.
so that makes it a bit easier.
but i still have some fallen leaves behind the house, where i planted my hostas, which i never got to. i guess i could rake them, but if we get this stimulus package i may spring for a backpack blower from lowes to just blow them over the bank and into the woods. i think backpack blowers are about $300
Those are nice. I just have electric ones. I bought one from Harbor Freight that is supposed to be a blower, vacuum and mulcher but I haven’t taken it out of the box. It was on sale. I think it was about $40. But you have to use an extension cord.
