I have been reading some rebt and cbt books recommended by notmoses. I can only read a chapter or up to 3 a day otherwise I don’t think I’ll fully absorb the benefits if I rush through it. Thats just me though. I feel empowered and have been having a decent day today. I have not read for awhile to so I feel good working that intellectul or linguistic part of “The brain”.
I know how you feel. I also feel good and think I have a decent day whenever I read at least one chapter of a book. I think it’s good to read a book that has something to do with your illness which helps you understand the illness and its treatment better. I used to read a lot on the illness or psychology but now I’d rather read something different like mistery which makes me feel more normal.
