If you’re at or around 135 you can relax. Your in the top 1 or 2 percent.
Whilst I don’t know you. I do know becoming obsessed with intelligence isn’t generally a good thing
I see it the same way as I see obsession with riches, there’s always someone richer
In the case of intellect, it’s even more nuanced because intelligence is flexible - you’ll end up comparing yourself to people always - and like people say; comparison is the thief of joy
I agree.
When people say someone is intelligent, they often mean smarter/better than other people. That’s a high bar to live up to in most if not all areas of life. People are quite smart in their own way is my opinion. The human mind is our greatest resource.
So to answer @PhotoGuy , yes. You might even be smarter than other people in certain areas, I can’t possibly know that. But let me ask you this, does it matter to you to be ‘better’ than others. If so why?
@PhotoGuy let’s say we reached a consensus here, that you’re the smartest guy on the forum. Maybe one of the smartest in the world too.
How would it change the quality of life for you? Would feel better, happier, more energized? Would you do something differently?
Not necessarily. Einstein was a genius, but he did terrible in school
I think you are questioning everything…
You are boring with your introspection…
PS you asked honest answers
@PhotoGuy
Intelligence is overrated imo
Emotional Intelligence is more important.
No, einstein earned good grades in school. He failed one enterance exam to a college or something.
Intelligence has to have some reflection on reality. Currently that means doing well in school. If one doesnt have intelligence to do well in school currently by most standards one is dumb.
Sorry I know I’m a bit boring.
He did well in math and science. In other subjects he was mediocre.
I think people are smart for their age. Developmentally at a set period in time. Being smart at 20 is different than being smart at 40. Experience adds a lot of richness to life. The lessons experience gives trumps books.
I fear the same thing. I dont mind being thought of as insane or cringe or anything. But dumb? I shudder at that.
I don’t really know you that well, but you come across as highly intelligent.
I think my meditation makes me dumb, which is a part of the brain fog.
You know discourse have AI features
It can detect many things I wish to see how we perform.
I had this in my mind long ago.
Where each person can be categorised with color around their profile pic with specific color as per their contributions to the forum.
It could be really interesting. Like the one below it’s all related to mathematics have a look I know the below codes are not that great but can be improvised !
No hard feelings bro @PhotoGuy I just remembered this feature when I saw your post. I lack in memory I don’t even know about self well.
I don’t see how your post is offensive lol
Can you explain?
It’s not much related to the thread so
You’re a sharp dude, and I find a lot of your posts to be relatable.
I think insecurity, with this illness, stems from ambivalence – which is a symptom of schizophrenia. I struggle with this, for sure.
You are smart. But you know that this is Sz. And nothing works in this disease. Only butiful ladies have some (you know) benifits.
