To Live in Three Different Centuries

My niece was born in 1999.

I told if she lives to be 101, she’ll have lived in three different centuries.

It sounds odd and implausible when you say it. Kinda cool when you think about it, though.

I never thought about it, but my daughter, too. She was born in '99. And my great grandmother is 102, so it’s not impossible (genetically) for her to live a nice long life, either. Cool beans!

When my parents were growing up they would rarely see people in their 70’s. Mind you a couple of world wars and such but more importantly huge advances in medicine.

Now. It’s not hard to know people in their 80’s or 90’s. I’d imagine by the end of this century there will be huge gains in health. I think you’re niece could have a real shot.
