Today we found out that the school will partner with us for a summer lunch program. Which will save us about $600 for the 6 week program. We feed 20 to 30 children lunch and snacks 4 days a week for 6 weeks after 4th of July.
With the partnership, we will need to be inspected by the health department. That means today I began the serious deep cleaning and reorganization of our kitchen.
It wasn’t dirty, but it’s been a while and there’s dust in the cabinets and on top of them,on top of the fridge, etc.
I cleared all the cabinets, scrubbed them, reorganized all the pots, pans, etc. Did surface cleaning on everything. All that is left is to do the drawers and fridge.
you and ozmandias and others here outdo everyone here I think…you are a canner for sure…you can do anything…makes me feel humble. I don’t do nearly enouigh.
