Playing the last good Rolling Stones album they put out. “Some Girls” in my cd player in my car. I remember when it came out it was a big deal. It was released in 1978 when I was 17 years old. A real popular album. I don’t look at it as if it’s ancient because I know every song on it well. But it hit me hard today when I was listening to it. The album came out 40 years ago. That’s an eon ago. Some part of my mind always thought of this album as their new stuff.
I can’t get over that it was four decades ago that it came out. Weird.

I know exactly how you feel. Most of the music I’m listening to nowadays is from the 80s, especially the early 80s. Which is of course 40 years ago. It’s scary stuff.
