I’ve been having them just the past couple days since my wife told me she wanted a divorce. I’m not telling her that but I feel that way. Especially when it gets nighttime. The dark is scary for me
Is there any medication that can make nighttime not make me feel like I wanna hang myself. And also take away the delusions like the TV is talking to me
I would go to a hospital and get help. if not you should take antioxidants to lower your stress levels. Rosehips, pomegranate, vitamin c etc will work. you sound depressed. You need help. From doctors or at the very least something to support your system/brain
I had similar symptoms, TV talking to me was a big one for me, I eventually got on clozapine and within around 4-6 weeks it was completely gone, it sounds like a long waiting process but as apposed to having it happen for who knows how long if you don’t put your foot down and do something about it now…
im not sure about the antidepressant, sounds like you are having depressive symptoms as well as psychotic symptoms (because of the delusions you mentioned) so you probably want one that adresses both.
i had similar symptoms before and i was prescribed abilify by my doctor. That may work for you as well, you will have to talk to them and likely they’ll give you something
You already know the reason for your thoughts - your wife’s wanting a divorce. Now, you need some kind, self talk about how you will get through this and some rational plans to make yourself happy. Whatever floats your boat ( as the young kids say). Anything from a soak in the tub, a cup of tea, a movie, a confidant, a pet, and so on.
Just be up front about it. He needs to hear what is going on. He may have other ways to get some sleep and relief. And he can prescribe other things. Some people sleep well with seroquel
So clozapine too 4-6 weeks to work how long did abilify take? I’m going to mention this all to the doctor Monday and see what she says. Of she doesn’t request any of them I will mention them.
If you are feeling suicidal, please tell someone — a friend or family member, a teacher, a doctor or therapist or call 911 (if you’re in the U.S.) or the Emergency Medical Services phone number in your country.
You can also call a suicide prevention hotline—these are available in the U.S. and in many other countries.
I’m not sure wnhat the exact time is. For the voices etc they say about a month to take full effect I think. But maybe you’ll see gradual relief before then?
