well sometimes i wonder how proffessional golfers can make so much money. is it really that popular or is it something corporate america likes and sponsers? its got to be one of the least popular sports. should there really be so much money in it?
now that im considering a career in horticulture and turfgrass management. there is a good likelihood that i will end up working on a golf course. a lot of times it is expected that you play the game yourself, which is not something im looking forward to. i appreciate the games difficulty and think it is one of the most zen sports out in nature but i have no desire to play anymore. also it helps to watch tournaments on tv and be able to talk about golf and the best golfers on tour as well as know some of the nicest and famous courses.
i guess it would be my preference to work the grounds for a nice university instead, or maybe even work for a city, in their parks department. but i don’t know where i will be employed, but im still going to go through with it.
