Iā€™m happy for you, Iā€™d freak out if I lost my sexual capability.

Ever since I started clonazepam I have felt tranquilized so my thoughts/urges/desires have lowered a bit but I havenā€™t lost the capability fortunately.

I dread the day when I become an old man and my ā€œSchmekelā€ no longer works (Iā€™m not Jewish but I like that word, it sounds funny to me).

fwiw I was on effexor for over a decade and it didnā€™t effect my sex drive or capability, but saying that, these meds affect everyone differently.

not to get into it again, but to mean ā€˜affectā€™ how it has ā€˜affectedā€™ you.

effect is like the 'effect of war, or the 'effective measure.
