This is kind of weird

Two things. My mother in law bought her nephew and I melatonin for insomnia. It so far is working and I did tell my clinical nurse she said she will monitor me.

Second instead of putting me on a second antipsychotic she raised the lithium to 1200 mgs a day. I have noticed the voices are softer I guess less aggressive. Can lithium do that?

Maybe she thought your moods were extreme enough to cause symptoms?

I don’t really know anything about sza, though. But I know when I’m sad I get more stressed more easily which makes my sz symptoms worse. So maybe a similar principle?

she just couldn’t add a second antipsychotic because of medicaid regulations. she wants to check and see how my lithium levels and other blood tests come back before she makes a final decision
