This forum seems less and less frequented. Is it just me or its dying?

There are always days/times that are not busy,
But I feel like that’s normal.
If anything I’ve noticed a lot of new members.

I’ve seen a lot of talk about people getting jobs, maybe that is contributing to it.
Sometimes it seems busy and other times dead.

Probably not. Sometimes it can seem that way when you are bored and waiting for a new topic or post to come up.
I have asked if the forum was slowing down before and mods(ninjastar I believe) have come back with some kind of “forum health” stat that said it was the busiest it had been all year. I have no idea if we have access to these statistics. Probably not.

Well, in the last 30 days we’ve had over a million page views. Lots of people signing up, but not all post. Many lurk.

i feel this place is so different to reddit

Stats can be messy and are not absolute. I run web servers for myself and clients and have used various webstat applications and they all report different numbers, some of the time they are similar but they are never all exactly the same. Some times they are based on web server logs, other times there is code embedded into the webpage like with what Google Analytics does.

There’s certain times of the day when it’s busiest. The two busiest times seem to be the mornings (U.S. time) and early evenings. There’s surges throughout the day though. But if you are coming every day at the same time during the slow times than it’s going to seem like it’s always slow.
