A friend of mine was good naturedly ridiculing people who get a headache in the face of every challenge they come across. Like it’s up to me not to let myself become disabled by a headache that I brought on myself and could prevent. I think she has a very good point.
@PinCushion, I find this insulting. As if I bring on my own headaches!! I get terrible, debilitating migraine headaches almost every single day through no fault of my own. My neurologist and I have no idea what causes them and also have no idea how to prevent them.
I know how to treat them however, thank goodness. I treat them with the combination of: migraine meds, cold packs, bedrest, and meditation. All of this works like a charm on my headaches. With this combination treatment, I can usually get rid of my headache within 20 to 30 minutes.
Good on you for finding a cure. I find no conflict with that as you have learned how to undo your headaches already.
