Thinking of going off meds

Docs don’t hand out APs lightly. These are hardcore meds used as a last resort. They have side effects but your doc has judged your symptoms warrant the meds. You don’t need to prove anything

What kinds of other things @Winterblues?

You aren’t aware of your surroundings for months following even on an injection. You bump into thing, drop things, emotions are all over the place, can’t talk in head to pray, nightmares, insomnia. physical sickness from withdrawal. You don’t want to go through it and each time it harder and harder to get back.

It is possible to live without medications.
I go to an alternative treater, who works with objects, and these objects agreed to remove the pressure
of intrusive thoughts from my head. It seems to work.

Sounds like someone is selling snake oil.:thinking::thinking:

Ya I thought that it might not go away even without meds too. I do still believe your right, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. It was just so real. Is that common for szs @Moonwalker ?

Idk how common but it was true as day for me

Do you think? Your probably right, I hadn’t thought of that. I’m too obsessed with this whole thing. It was just so real, no other words for it. Do you think it is possible to see out of another’s eyes? What are the mechanics of that @Moonwalker I still struggle with that?

Can you do a walk in and discuss that with psychiatrist?

It’s your brain so they see and feel and hear what you do

My voices said that too, but I know what you mean

You should tell your dr that you’re still delusional. It’s a state of mind

Thank you, I will tell him I’m struggling with it.

It’s always been a disaster for me when I went off my drugs. I live in an assisted living center for the mentally ill, and I’ve seen a fair number of people go off their drugs. It was usually a disaster for them. I did see one guy who was off his med’s who didn’t mess up, but he was awfully foul tempered when he was off them. You might find yourself on a stronger medication if you get off your med’s and mess up.

That’s like saying I got third degree burns once after I jumped into a raging fire. They’re healed now, but I’m not convinced the fire was what burned me so I think I’m going to go find another raging fire and jump in so I can find out if that’s what burned me or not.

So no. Don’t do it.
