Can anyone explain the strategy of thinking in pictures to defeat thought broadcasting?
I would close my eyes, focus on what you feel on the skin between your eyebrows, and, at the same time, ask myself, “What do I see?” And keep generating that question as often as it’s helpful.
I don’t have a clue. But you can try guided imagery. There are apps for your phone and everything. It’s also online. You close your eyes, and imagine what the narrator describes to get your mind off things
Or you could say to yourself, “mindfulness of that which I see.”
Or “mindful looking.”
