I always have to wait for what I consider a long time in the waiting room for my appointment with my pdoc. Other than that, I don’t do anything special.
How did it go? I have one on Monday I hate travelling there its in an awkward location. Yea I just clean myself n that’s it really… Sometimes I prepare queries if I feel like it.
I used to chew gum sometimes before I went in, not always but occasionally if I remembered. But now I don’t have any sort of ritual since I only see my doctor once a year with a year long supply of refills
It differs a little, but one thing I do is shower, do a beard/mustache trim with a electric razor and a disposable for the other parts of my face and dress a little nicer than usual.
It went well. We discussed my care plan. How my new depo is going and the possibility of adding an anti depressant but before we add that I’m going to see if I improve a little first over time.
Discussed my symptoms too. Just general stuff. It went well. I have a nice psychiatrist.
not do anything especially, once I ran late from the studio all dirty from oil paints and excited, she noted that learning and busy and it was for the better
anyway shes cool
I’m glad u have a nice psychiatrist it makes such a difference since they are the ones treating u. It feels good to be comfortable enough to open up to them about ur situation properly so they can give as much help advice as possible.
I wait hours in my psydocs office. He’s good but in demand.
I turn up showered and smelling good. You need that in an office that is so much better these days!
I’m pretty stable these days so it’s usually a couple of minutes. I’m feeling good. He see’s I’m feeling good…then we talk about cricket for a bit where he knows I’m feeling good and being rational…then scripts…and out of there.
You do need some process and you do need to ask questions when you need too. I"m pretty stable these days so it’s an art in itself!
