I used to love to dress up for costume parties in college on Halloween. there was this annual party amongst my friends called “bloodharvest ball” . One year I went as Captain Kirk. haha…hilarious. Every year whether I’m alone or not I carve a mural on a big pumpkin. Have been doing it since early nineties.

I don’t necessarily want to like be a violent grease burning inmate…but I have a jacket and a hat like his. Anyways just a stupid idea I haven’t made a mask like his yet.

me and my boyfriend buy a cake for haloween any excuse.
Bought a bag of chocolate covered pretzels to hand out on Friday. Everybody around me is saying ewwwwww, Gross, chocolate covered pretzels?, kids won’t eat those.

In my country, Mexico have a strong influence from American culture; but we celebrate after Octuber31, the Day of Deads(November 1 and 2), which is a ancient tradition. This has its origins between native and Spaniards. Nowadays, you can see on TV, advertising, street markets, a kind of syncretism between two cultures: American and Mexico (some people, here, don´t like this).

i loved it growing up, i got lots of things on halloween but i still haven’t ever been to a party

Nah my niece always gives me more than my fair share of candy so I say if you’re young get out there and get some candy. If not, well, who but freakopants come out on Halloween in adulthood? Last time I did that was 09’ when I went in drag with a baby blue wig and my woman went as a “princess”
We hit the movie crew crowd and I got dragged (saved?) to the roof where a joint was smoked and I fought for my life upon the glass of the skylights as my girl called me a woman. So long ago though…so long ago. I was crazy back then, today I am sane and myself again.
If someone knocks this Halloween hand em’ out the good stuff I say…it’s just a bag of candy at the store afterall.
