This would be a good way to describe my parents. Rather than that they’re racist or stupid, I will tell people they watch too much TV. I think this is more appropriate and fitting for them. They’re not racist but they’re influenced heavily by artificial domains.

It’s frustrating cuz I’m reliant on them and I love them and they love me but they say such ignorant things sometimes. I have my therapist in an hour I’m gonna mention the things they’ve said to her. It’s just I don’t know where this bigotry and ethnocentricity they have came from. It’s blind to be that way.

Not even church or anything like that for us. But yeah along those lines. My dads jewish but has become like a devout Christian in theory and hates Muslims. It’s weird.
Just let them have there opinions, and keep the peace there your parents after all
I definitely do that I’m just saying “they watch too much tv” is a good description of them if other ppl ask. It’s more like they don’t let me alone on my opinions. They’re intrusive. I walk out the room if they start talking about a sensitive subject and they keep insisting on it
