1992 was a very long and hard year, not just for me but others I know. My sister’s husband left her, something no one would ever have believed would happen they were so close, and I had a recurrence of my illness. Since that time my sister is so different I don’t feel she’s my sister anymore, like I can’t remember what she was like before. And I changed myself so much. It’s really strange.

My dad and mom both have changed drastically since I was young. What I’m doing is getting to know them now, as they are now. It’s a long process but I think it’s worth it
