There’s a new risperidone slow release weekly tablet coming out

You only need to take it once a week.
I wouldn’t mind taking it.

What?!? Is it out already?
This would be a game changer for me.

Can you post some info on it?

I looked it up, it’s in phase 2 trials right now.
Probably won’t be available anytime soon.

I’m interested too. Does it cause as bad of constipation as the daily risperidone pills? Does anyone know?

I don’t know @SkinnyMe
Maybe that information will be presented when it becomes approved.
If it becomes approved.

@Wave

Are you on injection or tablet?

I’m on tablets but it would be nice to take once a week instead of everyday

It would be good for parties or for when being outside at night so we don’t forget taking the pill.

I hate taking pills in public.

Thanks for the info, I would rather take risperidone than invega. Once a week doesn’t sound too bad. Where does it lodge itself for a whole week?

That’s what I was thinking.

I’m not on Risperidone, I am on Lurasidone, nonetheless a weekly tablet would be nice. I have to take mine twice a day.
