Last winter I didn’t really pay attention until one day we were at the register and I ended up paying $4 for a single tomato! I was floored and couldn’t believe it. After that I started paying a lot closer attention to the seasonal price changes and try to always look to see what’s in season and adjust my diet accordingly. Avocados seem to be pretty cheap right now, though. Like, summer prices kind of cheap. I got some 2/$1 today.

I did notice the price on avocadoes was 1.25 so that was fine at least. I should go check my receipt for the asparagus.

Oh it was $4.84, so that’s ok. I don’t buy meat so I can afford a little more on the veggies and fruits.

That’s still a lot! I mean, I eat primarily produce, but I’m pretty cheap. lol I’d rather eat something I’m not as fond of than pay a premium.

I had a double stacked taco from taco bell. Not healthy, but oh well. I am still under my calorie limit for the day so I’m pretty happy.

Mc Donald grilled chicken salad with ranch dressing even though I wanted it to be crispy but its ok because it comes with bacon.

@DrZen, do you have rice? Seasonings? If so you can add that to your beans for flavor and so it’s more filling.

I didn’t realize we were out of avocados, so the ones I bought this morning weren’t ripe yet. So no avocado for my tacos. Boo. But they were still pretty good.

I was planning on making cinnamon rolls today but had an episode and was feeling off from poor sleep.

I had gotten some alternative sweeteners too so was eager to see how they would taste.

I wound up eating some cinnamon toast instead and ham that someone else made.

Cinnamon toast is at least part way to a cinnamon roll.

I’m drinking a cup of hot chocolate. I probably shouldn’t because I’m already so fat and I’ve had too much to eat lately, but oh well. I’ve temporarily given up on losing weight.

Well, over here in Australia it is lunch time. I’m not eating anything as i’m doing the whole fasting for short periods type thing. However, for lunch i had a breakfast drink. It was caramel flavour. Very delish!

We did subway for lunch. Just a 6 in. Gone are the days I’d ho into a foot long. It’s about portion size now for this camper.

For lunch I had a Greek pasta salad with two egg rolls.

For supper I had one of those, sorta okay but not special, ramen microwave noodle things with the oily sauce.

Have a half a rutabaga and half a cabbage left for something later this week after my very good cabbage soup over the weekend. My dad’s girlfriend wanted more of it tonight but I said it was all gone. Yummy it was. :yum:
