It’s expanding, but what is it expanding into?
To be honest, all the ideas of the Universe we have are generally postulates or theories or suppositions.
Noone has a strong Empirical evidence of even so much so as the shape of the Universe let alone whether it is expanding or shrinking.
So all of them are effectively Speculating - based on no empirical evidence as yet…
They have empirical evidence that the galaxies that make up the universe are flying apart at an increasing speed.

yeah goes back to hubble… was refined by a lot of physicists…
I like to believe in the hindi perspective on the universe + the multiverse theory… totally not true or even realistic to consider as relevant to this existence…
still back in the days when I’d wake and bake that was the world I was living in… the drum breaths life and the fire snuffs it out… this life is a repetition… soul transference… it all happens again and also happens in billions of different variations…
think about it right and time and energy become useless at containing the nature of the fuzzy static of infinite we live in…
It’s all beautifully meaningless but super important… because it’s so intricate and strange… so mesmerizingly painful and hard to endure… but rewarding at the same time
In the end we don’t really know @Azley…what we have is speculation.
If you are alluring to the Indian concept of Reincarnation/Rebirth - it would make very little rational sense.
a. I just see that bad folks get a ride while good and innocent folks take a strong beating. So that pretty much discounts Karma and if there is no Karma I believe that there is no Rebirth and this life is all you have

just thought it was a beautiful way to view the cosmos…
the universe is expanding though… that’s more or less a fact…
