The u.k is just about the same land area of my native state, but has 10 times the number of people living there!

just doing a bit of research this morning. thinking about travelling to scotland sometime in the future for a visit. i think i read i can stay there for 6 months a year without a visa. i told mom, i may try to move there when im old and alone but not sure i could handle the population density compared to here.

it’s also got more people than the state of california despite being 1/4th the size.

It can be pretty congested here traffic wise.

I live on the south coast, and my town has 100k people and is part of a much larger conurbation that goes along the coast.

If you’re not a fan of lots of people, there are literally hundreds of smaller villages dotted all over the country side.

oh ok. i can live in big cities, but wouldnt want to drive in one. my computer log in is always showing picturesque photos of the u.k countryside. if i settled there, i would look for a quiet sleepy town.

for some reason i like the idea of migrating back to scotland, the land of my ancestors, which has about the same number of people of here, in 1/3 the land area.
