I would hope that I would have the courage to face death so that others might live. I’m a 58 year old male with no family to support, so I definitely fit the profile of someone who should stay behind.

if I wasn’t a dude, I’d vote differently
once there was heavy snowstorm - and just three of us were left in the workplace and we got a free ride so everyone told me to go - and there was one guy left behind. It is kind of cultural 
but I do like macho men =)

Maybe this is old fashioned, but the order is this: Women and children first, then men, then non-essential crew members, then essential crew members, and last off the ship is the captain.

I chose not you because I assumed that you meant it would’ve been a loved one or something like that. Also as a schizophrenic there are some things I’m worried about in the future that a young healthy person doesn’t have to deal with. So I guess that explains my choices.
