on the weekends when the weather is nice I can hear their music blaring at like 10-11pm. the guy who lives there is emergency response, for the county. I let it slide because of all my transgressions in the past…but it can be annoying when im trying to sleep.

although if I had my choice i’d gladly take the music over the gunshots as they also shoot guns in the summer. and their freakn dogs bark at me when im on my own property.

Same here. Everybody in the country has guns and my neighbors, who don’t strike me as typical redneck types, sound like they’re preparing for World War 3 sometimes, with all the shooting they do. Their dogs also like to come into our yard and bark at me. It’s annoying.
I used to live in an apartment and had a neighbor with hearing loss. He lived alone and drank a lot and as the night went on his country music would get louder and louder, the drunker he got. I would finally go knock on his door and ask him to turn it down. He was a nice guy though and always did. I think the guy was really lonely.

that’s one of the neighbors, at least their dog stays on their property. the other neighbor has this giant german shepherd that wonders off their lot and comes onto ours. one day he ran right up to me when he saw me. I was freaking out, I don’t really like dogs, but he’s super friendly, he just wanted to say hi I guess. and then I said “go home” and right away he walked back over to their lot and sat on the front porch waiting to be let inside.
