there is a lanuage of love
I feel there are many romance languages, and yep I’d have to agree with French being one!
I also think Hebrew and Gaelic languages are very powerful, and romantic also.
There are a few Italian movies that have boiled my blood as well. I forget the subtitles and just get caught up in the language… even though I don’t speak Italian.
Sophia Loren in some of her first old black and whites filmed in Italy… oh dear.
French and Italian are both romance languages - I speak both - believe me we are not living in a romantic society ever hear todays pop music? Rap is not so romantic
im not talking about romance as such…im talking about a kind word, a good thought, a good action which boils down to love
Love is such a vague concept - it is really hard to pin down
Well then the language for me would be small gestures unspoken.
My sis who has never seemed to be embarrassed by me in public and will hold my hand in front of others. (unspoken)
My parents or girlfriend who doesn’t argue with me during some of my more emphatic times but just sits and listens while I talk circles. (unspoken)
My friend who makes plans with me and still understands when I really can’t manage to get out of the house. (Unspoken)
yes J that is love too…no words needed…just the feeling
Bring back @SurprisedJ
Exactly bro! A true sincere fine love that doesn’t involve anything sexual necessarily but an aid and a sincerity that makes you feel welcome and in the company of people who understand that you only want to help.
I’ve not studied those. I’ve dabbled. Maybe I should.
This is the oldest topic I’ve ever seen.
Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.
