The importance of being positive

One major positive for me (Getting back on track on this thread)

My dog is everything to me. He’s cheeky, belligerent and full of character

He makes me laugh, and I am now enjoying walks outside the four walls

I take him everywhere with me

If I pass the clearance checks for the job, then he will go to a daycare that looks after up to 60 dogs, and he’ll play all day long with them  2 days a week

Sometimes being negative comes as a blessing.
Like, when I first got hospitalized, they tested me for HIV. Came back negative. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Ok joke aside, I totally concur. It was my positive attitude that kept me afloat during the darkest years after sz. I could do much more, so today I’m gonna start positive affirmations!

I am enough.
I am healthy.
I am capable.
I am not perfect and that’s perfect.
I am improvable.
I am lovable and loving.

Feel free to add your own to the short list above.
