So I tuned in to see how lady gaga and Metallicas set would be… They didn’t introduce metallica… Just here’s lady gaga… Despite it being a freaking metallica song… And it gets better… The Grammies devoted to music… Failed to plug in James Metallica’s singers mic… Failed to fix it through the whole song… But luckily lady gaga being the awesome professional she is brought her mic over and let James use it during his singing spots and shared it with him when they were both supposed to sing… I salute her for that… That was pretty dam awesome of her… But come on when has their ever been such a failure during the main dam attraction at a music award show wtf… It could have been fixed by any number of ways but it wasn’t… A new mic could have been brought out in a matter of moments… Boo the Grammies … Boo their failure to fix the problem… But props to gaga for doing what she did …
The Grammy’s are a sham anyway. When you look at what they do to traditionally black forms of music and black artists, it’s a joke to claim that they reward the “best” in music. Only 10 black artists or groups have won the album of the year award in the history of the grammy’s. They’re always relegated to the B.S. “urban” category. (Edit: and they don’t even televise most of the “urban” awards)
Sorry, mini-rant over.
But come on when has their ever been such a failure during the main dam attraction at a music show wtf
Paul McCartney 's mic got plugged out at Live Aid (1985)
During Paul McCartney’s performance his microphone went out. He said years later that, during the performance, he was thinking of changing the lyrics to his song “Let It Be” from “There will be an answer” to “There will be some feedback, Let it be”.
Bah Humbug, there seems to be award shows almost weekly, kinda sick of them all patting themselves on the back for getting rich singing, dancing and acting, when the real hero’s in life don’t even get noticed.
