The flesh is a nightmare.
It’s a seething bloody rotting nightmare.
It’s just not right at all.
People are okay with this? Insanity!
A little to open minded i guess.

As I commented to Malvok the other night in chat, I sure wish that Google would hurry up with my new robotic body and replacement positronic brain. Just have to be patient in the meantime.

Thats no good at all.
We need to convert into pure energy.
Our bodies are machines. It works on a nanoscopic level. Instead of levers, pullies, and LiPo batteries, proteins are our components. On that most basic level, there’s really no difference.
I donno if I’d call it a nightmare, unless you’ve got some handicap where you’re in awful pain all the time, or you’re paralyzed or something. Otherwise I’d say the body is a high maintenance nuisance. I much prefer dreams where I just fly around and don’t have to deal with it.
While I agree that would be lovely, one has to work with the tools at hand. So I’m back to doing daily trots on a treadmill in order to tune up the meatbot I’m currently occupying. All existence is a compromise. I’m sure that’s even true for non-corporeal beings. ![]()
