40 minutes dumbbell workout.
18 surya namaskar. It has been quite some time since I did these.
Hey peeps. Been busy but coming in a bit less. Still doing good and back up to 20k steps a day. Getting up at 4 am to get another hour to get some exercise in and doing well with it.
Had a couple of days off weights as it’s payday and invested in an olympic straight bar. Will help me do gravity benches and squats as the smith machine is good business but it’s nice to have some lateral movement. Hope it turns up tomorrow so waiting till I get into my cycle…
Chest/back day 1. Arms/shoulders day 2. Legs Day 3. Anyways it’s good to see you keeping up with it and it’s so good for you so keep on keeping on.
How do you do that? When do you go to bed?
I eat same time early at 5 pm then night meds then read till about 7pm in bed. I go to zyprexa sleep around 8 pm but I only sleep like 7-8 hours on my fitibit so I’m getting consistent…
Dad gets up around 6-7 am so I get two extra hours of jogging on the spot to get the heart rate up and watch some bad television. Works for me.
I just took a 1h walk outside its sunny.
Back hitting 20k steps a day. Was waiting on a new olympic barbell but it’s delayed or out of stock so I’m back into the weights tomorrow. Hope it doesn’t take too long as had some plans but otherwise I’m doing bodyweight exercises in the meantime.
Keep on keeping on peeps. Exercise is so good for mental illness and the studies these days say so.
One hour walk today it was nice.
My movement coach that I put on hold because of painful feet contacted me again and we made an appointment in October.
Going to increase the exercise again. With support.
This thread is dying lately
Went for a super long walk today with the dog, mom, sister her fiance and kids (in stroller)
40 min bike ride
Hitting 20 k steps in daily. Went for a good jog this morning. Plan is to build up to a 10k run so long ways to go but I reckon in a couple of weeks 5 k is doable.
Got my new barbell in for the weights rack. 20 kgs just the bar but good for bench and squats as the smith machine is a little artificial for some exercises. Feeling good!
I did 7 hip dips and tomorrow I might add a few minutes of planking with the hip dips
I didn’t get my steps in today though, I need to work on that
Been working my ass off around the place and cleaned out the shed where I have my rack. Nice to have it cleaned and thinking of getting a pegboard so I can hang the cable attachments. Should just make better use of the limited space I have.
I usually do 5-10 mins of kickboxing a day. Used to go to classes but now am just doing it at home to get the heart rate up. That totals to about 1 hr per week, which I heard is good, getting the heart rate up.
@roguetwo Love your workout ethic, truly inspiring.
I been losing so much weight that I’m ordering a power tower this coming month for chin ups/pull ups and dips.
Thankyou but it’s taken me years to get to this spot where I’m just about there to normal. It’s bloody hard work on the antipsychotics and the disorder itself. Still. You do what you can and a simple goal like trying to walk 10,000 steps a day is where I started…
It took some time but now it’s nothing! Keep on keeping on an good luck with your exercise. Take it slow so your not straining your muscles but just build it up over time. It really is good for you!
Did 24 surya namaskar.
Can someone critique my squat form?
