The difference between boys and girls was pants and dresses

That’s all I knew. I still think like that even though I’ve been wearing pants for years. It shows my age.

I’ve worn pants my whole life…I’m a girl.

How old are you? I am 71. Even in college, girls did not wear pants unless it was sub zero weather.

I’m 39. My generation was raised like that.

Wasnt that largely based on the bible? I believe there, in the old testament, one of the laws said “do not wear girls clothes if youre a man and dont wear mans clothes if youre a woman”. USA and Europe being very religious back in those days also manifested in their culture.

I grew up with poor kids so if a girl had older brothers, she wore their clothes.

I wanted to wear my brothers’ clothes. My best friend wore her brothers’ old sheriff’s suit. Co-o-o-l.

I’ve been known to wear a kilt on occasion (clan Cameron of Lochiel). Huevos this big just don’t fit into any pair of jeans.

Pixel.

Had a get together of extended family a few years back. Mom put on an old slide show, and in one pic it’s me on Halloween when I’m about 12 years old, wearing a dress and make-up as I went out that year as a woman. When the pic flashed on the screen my wife said…

“This is starting to explain everything. It’s all making sense now”

We all laughed out loud! It was a great one-liner from Hon!!
