Of course he’s dead.
I wasn’t disputing that.
I just meant he would probably not appreciate being misquoted.
Oy vey.
Whatever.
It’s useless trying to reason with you,
Especially over one of your “inspirational” quotes.

but if he did say it
he would be glad
either way you have,
no proof if he did say it or not
OK?
Come now @pedro27. The quote is rubbish anyway. It displays the kind of “philosophical depth” you might expect from one of Coehlo’s novelettes, not a “deep thinker” (as the quote so tritely puts it) like Jung. Just look at the first sentence: “The deep critical thinker has become the misfit of the world, this is not a coincidence”.
Does this quasi-millennial angst sound right to you? By definition, “deep critical thinkers” (provided such a category can be rigorously defined) are by definition at odds with the society they live in. How could Jung claim that times have moved now against them?
I don’t like it because it perpetuates the conspiracy meme that some kind of “elite” is secretly persecuting thinkers to prevent “awakening”.
well sek it helped me that statement from Jung
if something helps you don’t degrade it
try look for that inner spark
that leads to healing
OK?
Fair enough…
Read a book by Carl Jung about patterns in my late teens. Got it from the thrift shop I worked at.
Was experimenting with lsd.
Or you you could provide a link to what YOU posted.
Exactly.
Otherwise whats stopping me attributing things to you @san_pedro and asking you to find the source for things I’ve just made up?
