The dark season is coming

Our summer is over and it is autumn now. Days are shorter each day. My negative symptoms increase in their number when it becomes dark. I can feel it already. Are you living in the area where it is summer (no darkness and no snow) in every season?

I get Seasonal Affective Disorder a bit as well, takes me longer to adjust.

I have a close and personal relationship with winter whether I want to or not - I’m from Michigan

I’m form Michigan too - metro Detroit. My husband and I were just noticing yesterday that the sun is not out as long as it was last week. The days are getting shorter. I’m a little bummed because summer is my favorite time of year. Spring is my second favorite, followed by fall and then winter.

I love fall while it’s still fall weather, but once winter weather comes in it ruins the rest of fall. When I was younger I liked winter actually, but not anymore.

Yeah it might as well be winter then. I liked playing in the snow as a kid. Now it’s just cold. I do like the holidays though. It’s just boring and cold in January and February.

It never goes below freezing temperatures here, but still, we can feel the cold cause our summers are melting hot. I seriously concerned about heatwaves as i don’t have a good cooling system. I am breaking my back to arrange a ceilingfan. The showers will be lukewarm and not cold. At least i got two fridges. They ray some coolant. I will take it slowly in the heat.
