The commute to work. Not bad

Just 6 months ago I was driving an hour on the freeway to get to work and an hour back. Lot’s of traffic, often bumper to bumper. But I moved closer, and now I can take a big highway city street and get there in 45 minutes.

No more freeways and in parts it is actually tree lined and quite scenic and the traffic is not heavy and often flows pretty nicely. It’s just one more small load off of my mind and I don’t get up every morning now dreading the drive.
