Supposedly written about Mia Farrow’s sister when the all the Beatles and a group of their friends including Mia Farrow and her sister traveled to India to study Transcendental Meditation with the Maharishi Yogi. Mia Farrows little sister got a case of agoraphobia and would not come out of her tent to join the rest of the party.
Hence the line, “Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play”.

I don’t know why I like this song so much but this one is definitely one of my favorite Beatles’ songs. This song was used as the theme song to Life Goes On. I used to watch that show growin’ up. Check it out!!!

it was before I ever listened to classic rock, and I was on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKXfqpg-Q-k and I said to myself “lot’s of classic rock was made while on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKXfqpg-Q-k , i might as well listen to it.” And come 6 am the sun came out, and "here comes the sun’ came on…was epic.
That is such bull that Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds was not about acid. But they will stick with their story about it being a drawing by John Lennon’s son until the day they die.
